Education: A.S. Information & Computer Science, graduated 1991 Leeward Community College.
Worked as a residential and commercial solar water heater installer for over 15 years. Started installing solar thermal systems in Hawaii in 1992, before the HECO rebate program began. Personally installed over 2000 thermal solar systems in Hawaii, many of which were HECO approved systems, starting with the HECO program's inception in 1996. Started installing Photovoltaic systems in 2005 and continued to install solar thermal and PV systems until 2008. In 2008 switched to sales where I use my extensive background and knowledge as an installer to design and sell both solar thermal and photovoltaic systems.
I work almost exclusively in the residential arena. I do residential site surveys and design residential solar thermal & PV systems. I feel strongly about Hawaii's environment and am doing what I can to reduce our states dependence on fossil fuel.
